Flashy Gold is the native reward currency of Flashy Academy. You earn it by passing quizzes, completing learning tracks, submitting teaching bounties, and winning Knowledge Wars. It represents verified knowledge in the Flashy ecosystem.
How do I earn Flashy Gold?
There are four main ways: (1) Pass module quizzes within a learning track — each pass earns Flashy Gold. (2) Complete a full track to earn a certificate and a larger Flashy Gold bonus. (3) Submit a Teaching Bounty — create educational content about a track you hold a certificate for. (4) Compete in Knowledge Wars — weekly competitions where your learning pace earns points for your Crew.
How much Flashy Gold do I earn per certificate?
The exact amount depends on the track, but completing a full track and earning a certificate grants a significant Flashy Gold bonus on top of per-quiz earnings. The amount is shown on each track's page.
Can I lose Flashy Gold?
No. Flashy Gold earned through learning is permanent. Failed quizzes do not deduct gold — only passing earns you rewards.
What is a Teaching Bounty?
A Teaching Bounty is an open task to create educational content (YouTube video, LinkedIn post, blog article) about a track you are certified in. When approved, you earn Flashy Gold as payment. It incentivises knowledge sharing and extends Flashy Academy's reach.
